DORTMUND- Borussia Dortmund will be looking to start a run of good form this Saturday when they host an improving Wolfsburg team.

Wolfsburg come into the match off an impressive comeback at home against Hoffenheim to claim a 2-1 victory. Daniel Didavi continues to shine in his debut season with Wolfsburg as he got the winner.

Wolfsburg are currently 6 points above relegation but recent performances have shown that they should be able to avoid a relegation scrap and start fighting towards a mid-table finish.

Borussia Dortmund’s problems have been piling up lately, the team are currently on a 2-game losing streak after losing 2-1 away to last place Darmstadt and mid-week against Benfica in a match that they dominated heavily.

The last two times the sides met it finished 5-1 for Dortmund. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was amongst the goals getting 4 in his last two appearances against Wolfsburg, but the striker definitely had a night to forget on Tuesday missing a penalty and many good chances against Benfica in the Champions League in their 1-0 defeat.

Andre Schurrle will face his old team for the first time since going to Dortmund last summer. Meanwhile Jakub Blaszczykowski could feature against his old team.

Away points have been hard to come by lately for Wolfsburg, they haven’t picked up a point on the road since December 20 in a 2-1 win against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Borussia Dortmund will be favourites to win this game especially at home since they are unbeaten in their last 30 home games.

Kick Off: Saturday, February 18, 2017. 9:30am EST
