Toronto FC’s Road Trip Continues in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA- Toronto FC will be looking to get their first win of the season tomorrow when they travel to Philadelphia to face the Union.

TFC opened the season last weekend with a 0-0 tie in Salt Lake after Giovinco’s penalty was saved by Rimando.

The Union are also coming off a 0-0 tie away in Vancouver last weekend. A game where they felt they should’ve won.

Last season the two sides faced each other three times. TFC won 3-1 in the regular season and 3-1 in the MLS playoffs, the other result was 1-1.

Philadelphia have failed to beat TFC since 2014, so they will be looking to break that drought tomorrow.

The game has more significance because both teams are in the Eastern Conference, and three points will be a big deal between the two sides in the long run.

Victor Vazquez will be looking to make his first start for TFC after impressing in his cameo last weekend.

TFC are looking to get their third straight win at the Talen Energy Stadium.

Kickoff: Saturday, March 11. 4:30pm. The game will be televised on TSN 4 & 5.
