Arsenal, AC Milan standout teams in Europa League group stage draw

MONACO- The Europa League group stage draw concluded this morning in Monaco after yesterday’s playoff games; along with the Europa League Player of the Year award.

Paul Pogba of Manchester United won the accolades of Best Player of the Europa League from last season as the French midfielder guided his side to the Europa League title.

As the groups took shape, a couple standout games are Everton v Lyon, Lazio v Nice, and Bilbao v Berlin.

The 2017/18 Europa League groups are as follows:

Group A: Villarreal, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Astana, Slavia Praha.

Group B: Dynamo Kiev, Young Boys, Partizan, Skenderbeu.

Group C: Braga, Ludogorets, Hoffenheim, Istanbul Basaksehir.

Group D: AC Milan, Austria Wien, Rijeka, AEK Athens.

Group E: Lyon, Everton, Atalanta, Apollon Limassol.

Group F: Copenhagen, Lokomotiv Moscow, Sheriff, Zlin.

Group G: Viktoria Plzen, Steaua Bucuresti, Hapoel Beer-Sheva, Lugano.

Group H: Arsenal, BATE Borisov, Cologne, Crvena zvezda.

Group I: RB Salzburg, Marseille, Vitoria, Konyaspor.

Group J: Athletic Bilbao, Hertha Berlin, Zorya Luhansk, Ostersund.

Group K: Lazio, Nice, Zulte Waregem, Vitesse.

Group L: Zenit, Real Sociedad, Rosenborg, Vardar.

 

The groups will kickoff on Thursday, September 14th.
