The two sides have met just twice before in the UEFA Champions League in the 2008 group stage. The game in France finished 0-0 and Atletico won the home game 2-1.
Kostas Mitroglou and Rolando are doubtful for Marseille while Dimitri Payet is set to start after missing out in the tie to Guingamp with a small injury. Jose Gimenez is doubtful for the Rojiblancos, but did travel with the squad to Lyon.
