After opening the season winless in six games, the Colorado Rapids now host Seattle as they look to kick-start their season.

Colorado (0-4-2) were close to grabbing a point on the weekend in Florida but a late goal from former Manchester United midfielder Nani meant the Rapids were handed a dramatic 4-3 loss in the Sunshine State.

Seattle (4-0-1) are unbeaten in five games and bounced back from their goalless tie with Vancouver by beating Real Salt Lake 1-0 at home thanks to Nicolas Lodeiro’s lone goal.

The Sounders have won seven in a row against Wednesday’s opposition; most recently a 2-0 win at home earlier this season with goals coming from Kelvin Leerdam and Raul Ruidiaz.

Team news

Kofi Opare, Kortne Ford, and Nicki Jackson are sidelined with injuries for the hosts.

Seattle will be without Henry Wingo who is injured while Raul Ruidiaz missed the win over RSL and is doubtful.

Kickoff is at 9 p.m. on Wednesday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The game will be streamed in Canada on DAZN and will be televised in the U.S. on JOEtv, Altitude, and online on YouTubeTV (Seattle region).
