Everton and Burnley are set to meet on Friday afternoon as the hosts are looking to end the season in seventh.

The Toffees have one loss in six after a goalless draw with Crystal Palace. They are unbeaten in four home games with three wins and a draw and have kept clean sheets in all four of those games, which were against Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

Burnley are 15th with 40 points and have been confirmed safe for another season in the Premier League. A win on Friday would see them go 13th heading into the weekend’s fixtures.

The last time they faced was on Boxing Day when Everton won 5-1 at Turf Moor as Lucas Digne scored two on the day.

Sean Dyche’s team have traveled to Goodison Park three times, winning once and losing the other two.

Team news

Yerry Mina is questionable heading into the game, but could return. Andre Gomes remains out with a suspension.

Former Everton midfielder Aaron Lennon, Peter Crouch, and Steven Defour are all set to miss out with injuries.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon at Goodison Park and will be the first game of the penultimate weekend of the Premier League. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 3/5.
