Forge FC host west-coasters Pacific FC on Wednesday evening as they will be hoping to pick up a first win of the season.

The Hamilton-based side tied 1-1 in the inaugural game of the season against Ontario rivals York 9 FC, and most recently fell to a 2-1 defeat away to HFX Wanderers.

Kadell Thomas has impressed early on for the hosts; leading the goal scoring charts with two goals in his first two games.

Pacific opened their season up with a win over HFX Wanderers, but lost their last outing 2-1 in Winnipeg away to Valour FC.

Emery Welshman is a doubt coming into the game for Bobby Smymiotis’ side with a hamstring injury, while Lukas MacNaughton returns from suspension for the visitors while Kyle Bekker is suspended for two games.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton. The game will be streamed in Canada on OneSoccer.
