Toronto FC continue their two-game road trip as they head to Georgia to meet defending MLS Cup champions Atlanta United.

The Reds have enjoyed a good start to the season and are fourth in the East with 16 points, four behind first-place Philadelphia but with three games in hand.

Toronto (5-2-1) are coming off an impressive 2-0 win away to Orlando City last weekend with goals from Canadians Jay Chapman and Jonathan Osorio.

Atlanta (3-3-2) are up to 11 points in ninth after a rough start to the season, but have won two in a row after a 3-0 win away to Sporting KC as Josef Martinez scored two on the night.

The sides have met four times with them sharing three ties while TFC won the most recent meeting on the final day of last season, 4-1 at BMO Field.

The Reds have traveled to Atlanta twice, both games finished 2-2.

Frank de Boer will be without Brandon Vazquez, George Bello, Kevin Kratz, and Mikey Ambrose who all remain sidelined for the Five Stripes. The champions acquired Justin Meram from Columbus for depth while Ezequiel Barco is away with international duty.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 4/5, and in the U.S. on FOX Sports Southeast.
