Cavalry will be hoping to build off last weekend’s win at home as they host York 9 FC on Wednesday evening.
The Calgary-based club won 2-1 in their inaugural Canadian Premier League game with goals coming from Jordan Brown and Dominick Zator.
Valour FC won their first game of the season 2-1 on the west coast against Pacific FC, but lost their second game at home to FC Edmonton as Michael Petrasso’s late penalty wasn’t enough to salvage a point.
This is the first of four meetings this season between the sides.
Both teams head into Wednesday’s game with no fresh injuries and are expected to field full strength teams.
Kickoff is at 9 p.m. on Wednesday night at Spruce Meadows in Calgary. The game will be streamed in Canada on OneSoccer.ca.
