It’s been a great title race in Germany, but it could all come to an end for this youthful Borussia Dortmund side this weekend.

The Black and Yellow host Fortuna Dusseldorf and nothing but a win would crown Bayern Munich champions.

Even a win for Lucien Favre’s side might not be enough, if Bayern win in Leipzig, they’ll be confirmed as the Bundesliga winners this Saturday.

Dortmund come into the game having won twice in five games after slipping up last weekend to drop a two-goal lead and drew 2-2 against Werder Bremen.

The visitors are 10th right now with 41 points and are a point above Hertha Berlin and six behind Bremen who are ninth.

They come into the game with one win in four games after their 1-1 draw with Freiburg as Dawid Kownacki helped them get a point.

The first meeting between the sides this season ended 2-1 for Dusseldorf, which was Dortmund’s first league defeat of the season.

BVB have hosted Dusseldorf once before which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Team news

Achraf Hakimi and Dan-Axel Zagadou are out for the remainder of the season, while Marius Wolf and Marco Reus are still suspended after their red cards against Schalke.

Davor Lovren, Diego Contento, Jean Zimmer, and Takashi Usami are all missing for the visitors due to injuries.

Kickoff is at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. The game will be televised in Canada on the Sportsnet network.
