Toronto FC will be hoping they can bounce back on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia Union.

The Reds are coming off a 2-0 defeat against the defending MLS Cup champions Atlanta United at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Toronto (5-3-1) are enjoying their best start to a MLS campaign and have two wins and two losses in their last four games.

Philadelphia (6-3-2) had a rough start to their season, but have impressed lately with one loss in nine games and sit atop the East with 20 points. They come into the game after destroying the New England Revolution 6-1 last time out.

The sides met on the opening weekend of the season when TFC won 3-1 at Talen Energy Stadium when Michael Bradley scored two.

The Reds have won four in a row against Saturday’s opposition and the Union are winless in six trips to Toronto.

Team news

Greg Vanney rotated the side in Atlanta to give some guys a rest ahead of this game, while Jozy Altidore and Drew Moor missed out again. The duo returned to training on Friday and could feature this weekend.

Andre Blake, Anthony Fontana, Marco Fabian, and Cory Burke are sidelined with injuries, while Sergio Santos returned from injury and bagged a brace against the Revolution.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday afternoon at BMO Field in Toronto. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 4 and CTV, and in the U.S. on PHL17.
