The Galaxy will be hoping to extend their winning run at home when they host NYCFC on Saturday afternoon.

L.A. (7-3-1) are second in the West with 22 points and have won all six of their games at the Stubhub Center coming into the game.

Despite their good home record, the Galaxy lost their last two outings, both away from home, most recently a 3-1 defeat against the Columbus Crew.

NYCFC (3-1-6) sit sixth in the East after finding some form lately; they’re unbeaten in six games with three wins and three ties and are coming off a 2-0 win away to the Montreal Impact.

The sides have met four times; L.A. won the first meeting 5-1, but the Blues have won three in a row.

Last time they played out west it was a 2-0 win for New York City.

Team news

Julian Araujo, Perry Kitchen, and Romain Alessandrini are still sidelined, while Jonathan dos Santos picked up a knock against the Crew on Wednesday and is doubtful.

Ronald Matarrita and James Sands are both out injured for the visitors.

Kickoff is at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Stubhub Center in L.A. The game will be streamed on DAZN, and televised in the U.S. on ESPN.
