The Revs host the ‘Quakes hoping to end winless run

The Revs host San Jose on Saturday evening as they look to end their winning drought after a few rough results.

New England (2-8-2) are bottom of the East with eight points and are winless in four games after a 5-0 loss to the Chicago Fire on Wednesday.

Coming into Saturday, the Revs have conceded 18 goals in four games.

San Jose (3-5-2) are sitting seventh in the West with 11 points after a 1-0 win at home to FC Cincinnati and are unbeaten in four games with two wins and two ties.

The ‘Quakes are winless away from home heading to Gillette Stadium.

There have been three ties in the last three meetings between the two, and San Jose have one win in four trips to Foxborough. Last season when they met it finished 2-2 at Avaya Stadium.

Team news

Isaac Angking is the lone injury for the hosts, while Antonio Delamea was fit enough to feature in Chicago. This will be the first game the Revs play with Brad Freidel, who was relieved of his duties after Wednesday’s loss.

Kevin Partida is missing with an injury while Cristian Espinoza is out suspended for the visitors.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening at Gillette Stadium. The game will be streamed in Canada on DAZN and will be televised in the U.S. on NBC Sports Boston and NBC Sports California.
