AS Roma are hoping to reach the Champions League group stage next season, but face a tough task on Sunday as they host the champions.

The hosts are sixth right now with 59 points and are three behind Atalanta who are currently occupying the final Champions League spot for next season.

They come into the weekend unbeaten in six games with three wins and three draws and have won their last two home games.

Juventus have already won the league and are 16 points clear of second-place Napoli. The Old Lady have one win in six games and have drawn their last two games after a 1-1 stalemate with Torino.

The champions won the last meeting between the teams which finished 1-0 thanks to Mario Mandzukic’s lone goal. They head to Rome winless in four trips to the Stadio Olimpico.

Team news

Claudio Ranieri will be without club captain Daniele De Rossi, Diego Perotti, and Italian David Santon, who are all sidelined due to injuries.

Max Allegri is missing a wealth of talent with Alex Sandro, Sami Khedira, Paulo Dybala, and Mandzukic all ruled out.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. EDT. on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The game will be televised in Canada on TLN and will be streamed on DAZN.
