A point is all the defending champions need in order to seal their seventh consecutive championship as they host Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Bayern are top of the table right now with 75 points, two clear of Borussia Dortmund who’s win last weekend pushed it to the final day. A draw would be enough for Bayern even if Dortmund win due to a superior goal difference.

Niko Kovac’s side drew 0-0 last weekend with RB Leipzig and are unbeaten in 10 games with seven wins and three draws.

Frankfurt are down to sixth now; one point behind Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen, and two above Wolfsburg.

Adi Hütter’s team are winless in six games and winless in four away from home after a 2-0 defeat against Mainz last Sunday.

The earlier meeting between the sides finished in a 3-0 Bayern victory as Franck Ribery scored two on the day. Frankfurt were victorious in the DFB Pokal Final last season against the Bavarian side, but are winless in seven at the Allianz Arena with all those ending in defeats.

Team news

Manuel Neuer remains a doubt in goal after missing the last five games. Arjen Robben and Ribery will be playing their final games in the Bundesliga for the club.

Sebastian Rode is out with a foot injury and Taleb Tawatha is also missing.

Kickoff is at 9:30 a.m. ET. on Saturday morning at the Allianz Arena. The game will be televised in Canada across the Sportsnet network.
