Montreal host the Revs hoping to bounce back from Cincinnati defeat

The Montreal Impact return home where they will meet the New England Revolution on Saturday as the will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Montreal (6-5-2) lost their last outing, 2-1 to expansion side FC Cincinnati and are tied on 20 points with Atlanta United for fourth in the East.

New England (3-8-2) have been struggling a lot lately, but won their last game 3-1 against San Jose, their first win in four games.

The Revs sit at the bottom of the East with 11 points; tied with Cincy.

When they met just earlier this season in Foxborough it finished in a 3-0 win for the Impact, while they also won 4-2 in Montreal last season.

In 10 trips to Quebec, the Revs have won four of those.

Team news

Ignacio Piatti is back in training after a long injury lay off, but it is unlikely that he will feature this weekend. Defender Bacary Sagna is suspended for yellow card accumulation.

The visitors are without Isaac Angking as the lone injury. Antonio Delamea, Jalil Anibaba, Wilfried Zahibo, and Carles Gil are all a booking away from suspension. The Revs also announced Bruce Arena as their new head coach as they look to turn their season around.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at Stade Saputo in Montreal. The game will be televised in Canada on TVAS, and in the U.S. on NBC Sports Boston.
