York 9 are still hunting down their first win of the season and will travel out west to face Pacific FC on Saturday.

Y9 (0-1-1) are winless in their first to CPL games and sit seventh in the league. Jim Brennan’s side are coming off a 0-0 tie in their Canadian Championship debut in Quebec against Blainville.

Pacific (1-2-1) are fifth in the table as it stands and were defeated 2-0 at home against high-flying Cavalry FC in the Canadian Championship on Wednesday and are looking to end a three-game drought without scoring.

This is the first of five meetings between the two sides this season.

Both teams come into Saturday’s game with no fresh injury news and are expected to field full lineups. More information will follow prior to the game.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET. on Saturday afternoon at Westhills Stadium on the Vancouver Island. The game will be shown in Canada on onesoccer.ca
