Cincy look to build on win over the Impact as they face Orlando

Orlando City host expansion side FC Cincinnati as they will be hopeful of ending their winless run on Sunday.

The Lions are 10th in the East with 12 points and are winless in four games having lost their last three after a 2-1 defeat in Seattle on Wednesday.

Cincinnati (3-7-2) sit 11th with 11 points and broke their seven-game winless run with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Impact last weekend thanks to goals from Allan Cruz and Fatai Alashe.

This is the first of two meetings between the two sides this season who will meet in Ohio in September.

Team news

Orlando (3-6-3) will be without Carlos Ascues and their captain, Nani, who missed out in the loss at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday.

Jimmy McLaughlin remains out while Greg Garza and Alvas Powell are also missing. Kendall Waston and Leonardo Bertone are both a booking away from suspension.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Orlando City Stadium. The game will be streamed in Canada on DAZN with a subscription. It’ll be shown in the U.S. on My65, Star64, YouTubeTV and FloFC in the Cincinnati region, and on ESPN+.
