Atlanta United and New York will meet on Sunday as the Red Bulls finally seem to have got into some form, while Atlanta are chasing more history.

New York (4-5-2) are ninth in the East right now but will jump as high as sixth with a win after Toronto FC’s loss on Saturday. Chris Armas’ side have three wins in four games and won their last outing 3-1 on the road against FC Dallas.

Atlanta (6-3-2) have climbed to fourth after their tough start under Frank de Boer and will go third with a win. The Five Stripes have won five in a row, keeping five clean sheets in that run, a league record clean sheets during a winning run. They come into the game after beating Vancouver 1-0 at BC Place.

The sides have met six times with New York winning four of those meetings. Atlanta travel to RB Arena winless in all three of their recent trips to Harrison.

Team news

Florian Valot remains out with a torn ACL, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Aaron Long, and Vincent Bezecourt are questionable, while Luis Robles is likely to return.

Kickoff is at 5 p.m. ET. on Sunday afternoon at Red Bull Arena. The game will be shown in Canada on DAZN, and in the U.S. on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
