Dallas travel to Vancouver as both side hope to end their winless streaks

FC Dallas head north of the border to meet Canadian side Vancouver on Saturday night hoping to end their winless run.

The Texas team sit sixth in the West with 18 points and have two wins in six games away from home this season. They come into the game winless in five games with three losses and two ties after a 1-1 tie with LAFC.

Vancouver (3-6-5) are ninth in the West with 14 points having won twice at home in seven games. The ‘Caps are coming off a 2-2 tie with New York Red Bulls and are winless in three.

Dallas (5-5-3) were unbeaten last season against Vancouver with a 2-2 tie in Texas and a 2-1 win in Vancouver. In 11 trips to BC Place, Dallas have three wins, four ties, and four losses.

Team news

Michael Baldisimo, Jasser Khmiri, Yordy Reyna, Lass Bangoura, and Doniel Henry are all missing with injuries. Felipe Martins and Jon Erice were both questionable for the Red Bulls game but did feature.

Paxton Pomykal and Sebastian Mosquera are out injured, Cristian Colman, Dominique Badji, Bryan Acosta, and Carlos Gruezo are questionable, while goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez is a booking away from suspension.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening at BC Place. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 1/3/4/5, and in the U.S. on Texas21 and ESPN+.
