Portland’s road trip is finally coming to an end; the Timbers travel to meet the high-flying Philadelphia Union on Saturday evening.

Giovanni Savarese’s side are 10th in the West with 11 points and have one loss in five games after their 1-1 tie with the Houston Dynamo. Portland (3-6-2) are playing the last game of their 12-game road trip before hosting LAFC on June 1 at a new-look Providence Park.

Philadelphia (7-3-3) are top of the East with 24 points but have a superior goal difference over D.C. United. The Union have five wins from seven home games and are unbeaten in six games with four wins and two ties after their goalless tie with the Seattle Sounders last weekend.

Portland have won the last three meetings between the sides; when they met in Philadelphia back in 2017 it was a 3-1 win for the Timbers.

In four trips to Talen Energy Stadium, Portland have one win, two ties, and a loss.
