After failing to win their opening games of the tournament, South Korea and South Africa head into the second game needing a win to have a chance of progressing to the next round.
The Africans lost 5-2 against a strong Argentine side, but were a bit unlucky. Keenan Leigh Phillips drew them level in the first half before they conceded three goals in the last 20 minutes after a VAR call went against them.
Lyle Foster got a late consolation goal while Phillips was shown a red card and will be suspended for the Korea game.
South Korea opened their tournament with a 1-0 defeat to tournament favourites Portugal as Franciso Trincao bagged a seventh minute goal. The Koreans managed just one shot on target all game and had only 33 per-cent possession in the game, but kept their goal difference down which could be crucial.
The only meeting between the sides at this level came in 1997 when they drew 0-0 in the group stage as both sides crashed out before the knockout round.
Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. ET. on Tuesday afternoon at the Stadion Miejski Tychach. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 4.
