After securing a place in the last 16 of the World Cup, Senegal will be hungry to make it three wins from three, while Poland are in need of a win to advance.
Senegal have won their first two games in the group after defeating Tahiti 3-0 and Colombia 2-0. Ibrhima Niane and Dion Lopy both scored from the penalty spot in the win agains the South Americans which saw them punch their ticket in the round of 16.
Poland opened up their campaign with a 2-0 loss against Colombia, and bounced back with a 5-0 win over Oceania side Tahiti, with goals coming from Jakub Bednarczyk, Marcel Zylla, Adrian Benedyczak, and a brace from Dominik Steczyk.
This is the first meeting between these two sides at this level, although their senior teams met at the World Cup in Russia last year as Senegal were 2-1 winners.
Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. EST. on Wednesday afternoon at the Stadion Miejski Widzewa Lodz. The game will be televised in Canada on TSN 4.
