Group E comes to an end on Friday at the U20 World Cup with lots still at stake for all four teams.

France have already advanced to the round of 16 after winning their first two games, while Mali are through also, but their place in the group is unknown.

Les Bleus need at least a point to win the group while Mali need a point to confirm second place and a win to top the group. A loss for the Africans and big win for Panama would see them fall to third.

South Africa have lost their two opening games, but have a slight chance of reaching the next round; they’ll need to win by at least four goals and hope some results go their way.

The winner of this group will face the second place team from Group D, which will be confirmed on Thursday and will be either Nigeria, Ukraine, or USA.

Second place in this group will meet first place from Group F, most likely to be Argentina.

Lastly, if the third place team from this group advances, they’ll meet either Senegal, or the group winner between Nigeria, USA, and Ukraine.

The games will kick off at 12 p.m. EST. on Friday; France and Mali is at Stadion GOSir will be televised on TSN 1 while Panama and South Africa is at the Zdzislaw Krzyszkowiak Stadium and will be on TSN GO
