Eintracht Frankfurt will be hoping to keep their European campaign alive on Thursday when they face Basel, needing a big win.

The Germans fell 3-0 at home in the first leg back in March and will need to win by four to reach the quarter-finals for a second consecutive season.

They have two wins, a draw and a loss in Switzerland while Basel have two wins and five defeats at home to German sides.

Basel are unbeaten in seven games but have drawn three in a row after their 0-0 stalemate with Luzern on Monday.

They will be missing Kevin Bua, Luca Zuffi, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Zdravko Kuzmanovic who are injured.

Frankfurt are missing Makoto Hasebe and Jetro Willems.

The winner will advance to take on either Wolfsburg or Shakhtar Donetsk in the last eight.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. EST on Thursday afternoon at St. Jakob-Park in Basel. The game will be shown in Canada on DAZN.
