Wolfsburg will kickoff their new Bundesliga campaign when they welcome Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
The Wolves are coming off a 4-1 win in the DFB Pokal earlier this week against Union Furstenwalde.
Leverkusen also got a big win in the cup, beating Eintracht Norderstedt 7-0 with Nedem Amiri leading the way with a first half brace.
The sides have nine wins each and have drawn three of the last 21 meetings. The last time they faced it was a 4-1 Wolfsburg win, but Leverkusen have won four in a row away to Sunday’s opposition.
William is the lone injury for Wolfsburg while Paulinho and Leon Bailey are out for Leverkusen.
Kickoff is at 12 p.m. EDT. on Sunday afternoon at the Volkswagen Arena. The game will be shown in Canada on Sportsnet World.
