Dortmund travel to face Leverkusen in top four clash

Borussia Dortmund will look to climb into the top three of the table when they travel to face Bayer Leverkusen.

The Black and Yellow have three wins and a draw in their last four outings after a 1-1 stalemate with bottom side Mainz.

They sit fourth with 29 points and have five wins in eight away games.

Leverkusen are level on points with their opponents but are third by goal difference and have three wins in seven home games this season.

They have one win in five games after they lost 1-0 against Union Berlin last Friday.

In 20 meetings, Dortmund have 11 wins while Leverkusen have five. The last time they faced it ended 4-3 for Leverkusen at home and there has been 26 goals in five games between the sides.

The hosts are missing Karim Bellarabi, Mitchell Weiser, Paulinho, Sven Bender and Santiago Arias while Florian Wirtz is questionable.

Axel Witsel and Thorgan Hazard will miss out for Dortmund while Emre Can is suspended after his fifth yellow card of the season.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. EST. on Tuesday afternoon at the BayArena. The game will be shown in Canada on Sportsnet.
