Liverpool will be hoping they can book their place in the quarter-finals on Wednesday when they meet RB Leipzig in Romania.

The Reds are in poor form domestically having lost six in a row at home and have two wins in eight following a 1-0 defeat against Fulham.

RB Leipzig have won their last four outings and are coming off a 3-0 away win over Freiburg on Saturday.

The first leg ended 2-0 for Liverpool with goals from Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah which means Leipzig will need to win 2-0 for extra time and 3-0 to advance.

The hosts are missing Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Ozan Kabak, while Diogo Jota returned from injury.

Leipzig will be without Willi Orban, Marcel Sabitzer, Marcel Halstenberg, Konrad Laimer, Angelino and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. EST. on Wednesday afternoon at the Puskas Arena. The game will be shown in Canada on DAZN.
