Dortmund continue hunt for fourth when they host Leipzig

Borussia Dortmund’s hunt for a top four finish continues when they host RB Leipzig on Saturday.

The Black and Yellow are fifth in the table with 55 points, one behind Eintracht Frankfurt and have nine wins in 15 home games this season.

They have won four games in a row after their 5-0 victory against Holstein Kiel in the German Cup semifinals.

Leipzig are up in second with 64 points and have eight wins, four draws and three losses on the road this season.

They come into the game having won their last two after a 2-1 win in the cup against Werder Bremen.

Dortmund won 3-1 when the sides last met and Erling Haaland has four goals in two meetings with Leipzig. The sides will meet again this season in the DFB Pokal Final.

The hosts are missing Axel Witsel. Dan-Axel Zagadou, Mateu Morey and Youssoufa Moukoko who are injured while Jude Bellingham is suspended.

Leipzig will be without Lukas Klostermann, Marcel Halstenberg, Justin Kluivert, Dominik Szoboszlai and Christopher Nkunku.

Kickoff is at 9:30 a.m. EDT. on Saturday morning at the Signal Iduna Park. The game will be shown in Canada on Sportsnet.
