Real Madrid will be hoping they can go top of the table on Sunday when they travel to take on Valencia.

Los Blancos have 10 points in the league and are coming off a late 1-0 win against Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Valencia also have 10 points but have a better goal difference so far following their 4-1 win over Osasuna last time out.

In 25 meetings, Madrid have 13 wins while Valencia have four. The last time they met it was a 2-0 Madrid win, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side are winless in three trips to Valencia.

The hosts are missing former Real Madrid midfielder Denis Cheryshev, while Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Marcelo are out for Los Blancos.

Kickoff is at 3 p.m. EDT. on Sunday afternoon at the Estadio Mestalla. The game will be shown in Canada on TSN.
