Man Utd host Palace with Rangnick in charge for first time

Ralf Rangnick will take charge of Manchester United for the first time when they welcome Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils are seventh in the league with 21 points and were unbeaten in their time under Michael Carrick with two wins and a draw after an entertaining 3-2 win over Arsenal thanks to a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Palace sit 12th with 16 points and have one win in seven away games this season. They have lost two in a row after a 1-0 defeat at Leeds United.

In the last 18 meetings, Palace have three wins and when they last met it was a 0-0 draw in London. United are winless in three at home to their opposition.

The hosts are missing Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.

Palace will be without Nathan Ferguson, Joachim Andersen and James McArthur due to injury, while Joel Ward is suspended.

Kickoff is at 9 a.m. EST. on Sunday morning at Old Trafford. The game will be shown in Canada on DAZN.
